Emily Damstra
Emily is interested in many subjects of natural science illustration, including botanical. She works in a variety of media, often using water-based paints, coloured pencils, or Adobe Photoshop.
Her background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing/Illustration from Alma College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Science Illustration from The University of Michigan. She is a freelance illustrator and a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
Emily has participated in many North American art exhibitions and her work appears in numerous books, articles, websites and museum exhibits.
She lives in Kitchener, Ontario.
