Gerry Jenkison

A lifelong love of drawing and painting combined with a keen interest in natural science led Gerry Jenkison to botanical illustration, which she studied with Celia Godkin, Pamela Stagg, and Robin Jess. Her work has been included in a number of juried shows in recent years in both Toronto and Price Edward County. Her particular interests are wildflowers, fruit and vegetables, and seeds.

2004, 2002 – As a member of the Origins group of botanical painters, in Botanicos Fragmentos and Origins in the Garden, in Toronto

2006, 2004, 2003, 2001, 2000, 1999 – Solo shows at the SideStreet Gallery, Wellington, Ontario

2006, 2004, 2003, 2001, 1999, 1998 – Art in the County, a juried show of Price Edward County artists' work in Picton, Ontario

2002 – Juried exhibition with Botanical Artists of Canada at the Civic Garden Centre, Toronto

2002 – Juried exhibition of botanical illustrations at the Canada Blooms annual exposition, Toronto

1999 – Botanical Elements Group show at the Civic Garden Centre, Toronto
