Luisa (Lali) Klopchic

I was born in Madrid, Spain, where I began my education in art. I came to Canada 1958 with a young family and put my art on hold for a few years. In 1995 I went back to painting, taking classes at the Ontario College of Art.

My main tutors in the field of botanical painting have been Celia Godkin and Pamela Stagg.

I’m a member of the following art organizations: Botanical Artists of Canada, the Willowdale Group of Artists and the Don Valley Art Club. I have participated in many juried exhibitions, and many of my paintings are in private collections.
