Peta Lomberg
Peta grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and immigrated to Canada in 1987. She runs her own communications and organizational development consulting firm in Toronto, specializing in stakeholder engagement.
A fairly recent convert to botanical art, she studied with Celia Godkin, Pamela Stagg, Margit Koritar and Robin Jess. She works in both watercolour and colour pencil.
Her work has been included in group shows in Canada, among them the Royal Ontario Museum, “Origins,” and Toronto Botanical Gardens. She is a founding member of the Botanical Artists of Canada and a member of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.
In summer, Peta spends many hours studying the fauna and flora of Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto.
