Married with adult twins and still practicing as an occupational therapist, I started to paint in watercolours in 2004. Botanical art strongly appealed to me, given my profound love of nature, art and science.
While largely self-taught, I’ve received botanical drawing and painting instruction through the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Celia Godkin as well as courses and private instruction with several botanical artists including Margit Koritar and Pamela Stagg.
More recently, my paintings have been exhibited at juried shows in the greater Toronto area, including Canada Blooms, The Aird Gallery and the Peel Heritage Gallery. My work is in private collections in Canada, Denmark and the United States.
