Elizabeth H. Tudor

Elizabeth Tudor (Liz) is an artist who believes in the pure clean-line beauty of nature.  Born in Shropshire, England, of Welsh and English parents and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  Liz is now retired and living in Toronto, Ontario.  Her artwork reflects her love of nature’s colour, texture and fine detail.

Liz studied art at Toronto’s Western Technical School; at the University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies; Toronto Central Technical School of Art; and the Etobicoke School of the Arts.

Her passion for her garden, as well as her fondness of the outdoors, are vividly expressed in her botanical art, as well as her landscapes, abstracts and contemporary pieces.  Watercolour is her first love, but she also enjoys working with oil, pastels, coloured pencils and ink.

“My art leans toward classic botanical colouring and composition.  I value and try to capture the graceful beauty, colour and peacefulness of flowers and plants.  My only wish is that my art can bring a little of these things into your home and your life!”

All works shown on the BAC web site are original, one of-a-kind paintings in watercolour and only acid free papers are used.  For more watercolours, oils and pastels please see my web site.
